- Important! Like all customs invoices, it must be written in English or in the language of the country of destination.

The specificities
Here is the important information to know if you want to send the following goods:
Chocolate:
- FedEx: Chocolate must have an expiry date of more than 6 months and must be accompanied by a Pro-forma invoice.
- UPS: Does not ship chocolate.
- TNT: Does not ship chocolate.
A computer:
- FedEx: If the computer contains a battery, the shipper must have a “dangerous” materials declaration and a pro forma invoice. It is possible that custom fees and taxes will be charged to the recipient.
- UPS: An original invoice and two copies are required, the maximum weight allowed is 70Kgs.
- TNT: The recipient will be taxed customs and VAT on the value of the goods declared.
Moving belongings:
- FedEx: Personal effects must be declared on the invoice and confirmed by the recipient. Customs fees and VAT are possible on arrival.
- UPS: Does not ship any personal belongings.
- TNT: The recipient will be taxed customs and VAT on the value of the goods declared.
Keys (personal belonging):
- FedEx: A Pro-forma invoice is to be provided. It is possible that duties and taxes will be charged to the recipient upon receiving the goods.
- UPS: Does not ship any personal belongings.
- TNT: The recipient might be taxed customs and VAT on the value of the goods declared.
Furniture:
- FedEx: The sender must have a Pro-forma invoice, moreover, it is possible that duties and taxes will be charged to the recipient upon receiving the goods.
- UPS: Does not ship furniture.
- TNT: It is possible that custom fees and taxes will be charged to the recipient.
Suitcase:
- FedEx: The suitcase must not exceed 25kg. The shipper must provide a Pro-forma invoice. It is possible that duties and taxes will be charged to the recipient upon receiving the goods.
- UPS: Does not ship suitcases.
- TNT: The shipper must submit the packing slip. It is possible that duties and taxes will be charged to the recipient upon receiving the goods.
Documents:
- FedEx: The shipper must submit the packing slip.
- UPS: The shipper must submit the packing slip. If the weight exceeds 2.5 kg, the shipper must provide a Pro-forma invoice.
- TNT: If the documents weigh more than 5kg, a Pro-forma invoice is required.
Credit card:

Wine:
- FedEx: Sending wine is only possible from business to business. For wine and spirit it is mandatory to present an export license for the sender and an import license for the recipient. The pro forma invoice must contain the description of the goods, the color of the alcohol and its percentage. Shipping without a licence is also possible, but only from individual to individual, or from an individual to a business.
- UPS: Does not ship wine.
- TNT: Sending wine is only possible from business to business. For wine and spirit it is mandatory to present an export license for the sender and an import license for the recipient. There are limits to this type of shipment: 3 bottles, for a maximum weight of 4kg, and a maximum value of 21 € per unit. The mention “gift” is obligatory on the invoice.
USB stick:
- FedEx: The recipient must submit a Pro-forma invoice for this type of shipment.
- UPS: Does not ship USB sticks.
- TNT: The shipper must submit a pro-forma invoice.
