Delivery of goods in Hungary?
Customs tariffs
The Common Customs Tariff of the European Union applies to goods coming from outside Europe. In general, tariffs on industrial products are relatively low, ranging from 5 to 14 percent. However, many goods benefit from reduced tariffs under trade agreements or are duty-free (according to Eurostat, about 70 percent of imports entering the EU are subject to a zero tariff). The Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) applies to agricultural products imported from outside the EU, with customs duties on these products being replaced by a system of variable levies or other charges. Customs duties are not levied until the cumulative value of the goods reaches HUF 41,000 (CHF 125). If the aggregate value of the products does not exceed HUF 6,000,000 (CHF 18,000), customs duties and VAT are not paid.
