Customs formalities for Iceland
Required documents
When sending a parcel from Switzerland to Iceland, please enclose the proforma invoice, which is automatically generated by Expedismart.ch. For a new product, the proforma invoice is not the receipt you received from the selling shop. The proforma invoice is used to inform Icelandic customs about the contents of your package. However, if the goods are to be resold after arrival in the country, the shipment must be accompanied by a commercial invoice, which is also created automatically on Expedismart.ch. For higher value goods, we recommend that you take out insurance. The cost of insurance is 1% of the declared value of the goods. If you wish, you can arrange this directly when preparing the shipment.
Compare services and prices for shipping to Iceland now. In addition, you can choose the carrier (e.g. FedEx, DHL, Aramex or TNT) that will pick up your package at the time of your choice and deliver it safely to the destination country.
