Customs formalities for Slovakia
Required documents
The pro forma invoice is automatically generated by Expedismart.ch and indicates to the Slovak customs the contents of your package. Choose the carrier (DHL, FedEx, UPS, Aramex or TNT) who will pick up your document or package from your home. For valuable goods you can take out parcel insurance. If the goods are sold in Slovakia, a commercial invoice must be provided, which you can draw up yourself or which is filled in automatically when you book your shipment via Expedismart.ch.

Customs tariffs
Operations within the EEA are exempt from customs duties. The General Customs Tariff (CCT) of the European Union refers to goods originating outside Europe. Average customs duties, such as 4.2% for imported goods, are not high. However, the textile, clothing (high duties and quotas) and agri-food sectors (average duty of 17.3% and several tariff quotas, CAP) still have protective measures.
What is prohibited to import and export from Slovakia?
